The King of Kowloon (Tsang Tsou Choi) was a street calligrapher who obsessed over tagging up the streets of Hong Kong since the middle of the last century. He rambled on about being the true successor to Kowloon because he believed his family lineage stemmed from former emperors. Graffiti was the platform he used to tell his story for over the last fifty years until he passed away as an underground icon a few years ago.
There is a petition online to protect the legacy works he has created: http://www.petitiononline.com/king0328/petition.html
