As I’m sitting in a hotel room somewhere in Beijing watching the memorial service for Michael Jackson on CNN, because of technology, I was able to do it chatting with friends and even random people who I’ve never personally met. I like how the world is getting smaller, allowing us to connect without being in the same room. It’s 3am here and I’m on facebook and twitter discussing how Mariah Carey’s voice was cracking or even about John Mayers spot on performance. The good part is you can ignore certain comments being made while you are trying to concentrate on the program and then even come back to those comments at your own leisure.
